I am a long term ecologist working on past and future fire disturbance and vegetation dynamics in European ecosystems (Mediterranean region, Carpathian mountains, Armorican massif).
Research interests :
Disturbances such as fires, human impacts or climatic changes have impacted most terrestrial ecosystems. I am particularly interested in their impacts on plant diversity in a context of global warming.
This work is interdisciplinary with a multi-proxies approach involving collaboration with geologists, biogeographers, archaeologists or palynologists.
Key-words : Fire, Biodiversity, Human Activities, Modelling, Climatic Change
